Type W Vaneaxial Fan, Direct Drive

Application

Designed for high capacity applications requiring straight-line discharge, the VW Type “W” vaneaxial fan’s adjustable pitch impeller is available in Design 1, sizes 18 through 43, and in Design 3, sizes 48 through 84. The seven adjustable cast-aluminum airfoil blades are held in place by a high strength, specially designed steel bolt cast into the blade and threaded into the hub. It is locked by one setscrew. The VW’s design has many practical advantages. It is easily adjustable and requires no special tools.
